Butcher’s Mark

When this unique opportunity to help create a brand from its very inception came our way, we sunk our teeth into it. Working closely with the owner, we developed the name, logo, full identity system and assisted in the interior design too for this new concept of a modern day version of the old butcher shops in the Northeast United States. Then we went to work on a brand campaign to fight bland.

LIFE’S TOO BORING FOR BLAND. SO OUR WORK COULDN’T BE EITHER.

First, we got busy in the store by creating butcher paper, packaging for marinades, jerky and meals, in-store graphics, flavor posters featuring each protein and marinade-specific videos on the video boards that lined the store. Then we stepped outside and launched the Fight Bland campaign through outdoor, print, social and digital.

WE FIRED UP SOME TASTY DIGITAL MARKETING.

When you launch a new brand, you obviously don’t have a website so we did that too. It showed customers where each protein was sourced from, flavor profiles for each of the 20 marinades and the full menu. We also launched a social campaign that included some funny BBQ profiles and social videos that unwrapped our brand messaging.
